Bio - Brendon Lynch

Brendon Lynch is a Senior Privacy Strategist in Microsoft's Corporate Privacy Group where he works to continue the advancement of Microsoft's internal privacy practices and also has responsibility for Microsoft's strategies to deliver valuable privacy solutions to customers.  Before joining Microsoft, Brendon was the Director of Privacy and Risk Solutions at Watchfire, a provider of online risk and compliance software solutions.  Prior to entering the software industry, Brendon spent nine years with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided consulting services to Global 1000 companies in relation to compliance and risk management.  Brendon is a regular speaker at privacy conferences.  He serves on the Certification Board of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).  Brendon holds a business management degree in information systems from the University of Waikato, in his home country of New Zealand, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
